At Peterson Manufacturing Company (“PM Lights”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we recognize the importance of protecting your privacy, including information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual (“Personal Data”).

This Privacy Statement does not apply to any website or application other than the Site, including those you may link to from this Site, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third party websites and applications.   1. What Personal Data does PM Lights collect? As further described in this Section 1, we collect Personal Data in two ways: when you chose to provide Personal Data to us or our service providers on our Site; and automatically from you when you visit our Site.
      1. Personal Data that you provide on the Site. On the Site, you may choose to provide the types of information listed below, some of which may constitute Personal Data. Providing this information is optional; however, if you chose not to provide it, we may not be able to provide you with the services you request.
          • Contact Information for Promotional Messages and Marketing. In various areas of the Site, we provide you the opportunity to submit your email address and/or phone number to subscribe to our email and text list. If you choose to provide this information to us, we will use it to send you email and text communications describing products and services we think may be of interest to you. Likewise, in various places, we provide you the opportunity to submit your contact information and a description of any products or services about which you would like to learn more. If you choose to provide this information to us, we or our partners may use it to contact you to further discuss.
          • Resume Information. From time to time, we may post job openings at PM Lights on the Site and invite Site visitors to apply. As part of our application, we may ask you to submit your name, postal address, email address, work history and education history.
          • Questions and Comments for Us. In various areas of the Site, we provide you the opportunity to submit feedback to us through forms. We will receive any Personal Data you chose to provide us through these forms.
          • Personal Data You Disclose Relating to Others. You may choose to provide us Personal Data relating to others. Understand that if you disclose any Personal Data relating to other people to us for any reason in connection with the Site, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
      2. Information Collected Automatically. We use the software tools described in this Section 1.2 to collect information automatically when you visit the Site. Additionally, some of our third party service providers (described in Section 3, below) may use similar tools to automatically gather information on our behalf regarding your use of the Site. In either case, the automatically collected information, alone or in combination with other information, may constitute Personal Data. We have a legitimate interest in using this information to assist in systems administration purposes (including information security and abuse prevention), to track user trends, and to analyze the effectiveness of our Site.
          • Log Files. We use log files on our Site to capture your internet protocol (“IP”) address, your browser type, your Internet Service Provider (“ISP”), the date/time stamp of your Site visits, your referring/exiting pages, your clicked pages within the Site, your device number and type, your operating system or mobile carrier type, and any other information your browser sends to us.
          • Analytics Software Tools. We use Google Analytics on our Site to help us analyze the traffic on our Site. For more information on Google Analytics’ processing of Personal Data, please see http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. By using a browser plugin http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/plugin/provided by Google, you can opt out of Google Analytics.
          • Cookies. When you visit our Site, our servers may send a cookie to your computer. We use these cookies to collect information about how you use the Site as part of our ongoing effort to operate the Site and to make interactions with our Site easy and meaningful. We use both session-based and persistent-based cookies. Session cookies exist only during one session, and they disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. Some of these cookies are essential, meaning that our use of them is required to operate the Site (such as cookies necessary for you to navigate our site). Other cookies allow us to provide certain optional functionalities to you (such as a faster account sign-in process), or allow us and third parties to track and analyze your movement about the Site (such as what pages you view the most). We process the information collected through such technologies, which may include or be combined with Personal Data, to help operate certain features of the Site, to determine the regions from which you access the Site, to enhance your experience through personalization, and to help us better understand the features of the Site that you and other users are most interested in.
  2. How does PM Lights use the Personal Data that it collects? The Personal Data that you submit or we collect through the Site may be used in the following ways: (i) to provide the services you request in connection with our Site; (ii) to respond to questions or comments you submit to us; (iii) to provide and improve our Site and services, including to ensure the Site’s technical functionality and security work as intended; (iv) to analyze how well our Site is performing by determining things like how many visitors reach the Site and what content is most popular, including as described in Section 1.2;  (v) to send you promotional and educational materials that you have requested; (vi) to protect our rights and our property and comply with applicable law; (vii) to perform any other activity for which we have requested and obtained your consent; and (viii) for another legitimate business purpose of PM Lights or a third party.
  3. Does PM Lights disclose Personal Data to others? Without your consent, we do not sell, lease, rent or otherwise disclose the Personal Data collected from our Platform to third parties except in the situations described below in this Section 3.
      1. Social Media Providers. If you access the social media icons that appear on our Site, we may allow the applicable social media platform (for example, Facebook) to collect information about you, such  as the fact that you have visited or interacted with us. The third-party provider may combine this information with other information it has about you. As with all third parties, use of this information will be governed by the social media platform’s privacy policy.
      2. Other Third Party Providers. We transfer Personal Data to our other third party service providers, such as email marketers that assist us with sending your messages and sales representative that assist us with contacting you regarding products and services about which you have inquired, as necessary for them to perform tasks on our behalf as more fully described in Sections 1 and 2.
      3. In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Change of Control. We may transfer or assign this Privacy Statement and any Personal Data to a third party entity that acquires or is merged with us as part of a merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
      4. Other Disclosures. We may disclose Personal Data about you if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms and Conditions, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of other Site users or the public.
  1. How long does PM Lights retain Personal Data? If and as allowed by applicable law, we reserve the right to retain Personal Data as long as the Personal Data is needed: (i) to fulfill the purposes that are described in Sections 1 and 2; or (ii) to comply with applicable law.
  1. What choices do all Platform users have with respect to their Personal Data? In many cases, you can chose not to provide us information through the Site, and to instead request products or services either over the phone or in person. Additionally, you can unsubscribe from marketing messages by clicking the link in any marketing emails and texts you receive from us. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, we may still send you communications related to services, as well as administrative, maintenance and operational emails.
  2. What rights do Platform users who are California residents have? This section applies to our collection and use of “Personal Information,” as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), if you are a resident of California.
      1. Categories of Personal Information Collected and Used. “Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. In accordance with the CCPA and in the manner described in Sections 1 and 2 above, we collected the following categories of Personal Information within the preceding 12 months:
          • Identifiers such as your name, email address, mailing address, IP address, and online identifiers;
          • Certain categories of Personal Information described in subdivision (e) of California Civil Code Section 1798.80, including contact information and employment information;
          • Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law, including telephone number, employment history and education history; and
          • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including information on your usage of the Site (“Usage Information”).
      2. Categories of Personal Information Disclosed. In accordance with the CCPA and in the manner described in Sections 1 and 2 above, we disclosed the following categories of Personal Information within the preceding 12 months:
          • Identifiers such as your name, email address, mailing address, IP address, and online identifiers;
          • Geolocation data, such as device location; and
          • Usage Information.

3. Categories of Personal Information Sold. We did not “sell” Personal Information as defined in the CCPA within the preceding 12 months.

4. Additional California Privacy Rights If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights:

          • Right to Know. You may have the right to request information on the categories of personal information that we collected about you, the categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected, the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the categories of third parties with whom we have shared personal information, and the business purposes for which such personal information is collected and shared.
          • Right to Delete. You may have a right to request us to delete Personal Information that we collected from you.
          • Right to Opt-Out. You have a right to opt-out of certain disclosures of Personal Information to third parties, if such disclosures constitute a “sale” under California law. At this time, we do not sell Personal Information.

5. Exercising Your California Privacy Rights. You have a right not to be discriminated against in pricing and services because you exercise any of your California privacy rights. If you would like to exercise your rights listed above, please contact (or have your authorized agent contact) us using the contact information listed below.  When doing so, please tell us which right you are exercising and provide us with contact information to direct our response. We must verify your identity before fulfilling your requests.  If we cannot initially verify your identity, we may request additional information to complete the verification process. Any Personal Information you disclose to us for purposes of verifying your identity will solely be used for the purpose of verification.

  1. Does PM Lights transfer Personal Data out of the United States? From time to time, we may transfer Personal Data internationally. When we do so, we take steps to provide adequate safeguards, such as entering into standard contractual clauses with our service providers.
  2. How does PM Lights Protect Personal Data? We want you to feel confident about using our Site, and we are committed to taking appropriate steps to protect the Personal Data we collect. While no company can guarantee absolute security, we do take reasonable steps to implement appropriate physical, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the Personal Data that we collect and process.
  3. Does PM Lights collect information from children? Children under the age of 13 should not use the Site at any time, and we do not knowingly collect or store any Personal Data of children under the age of 13. If you are a parent and believe we have collected Personal Data about your child, please contact us using the contact information below. If we discover that we have inadvertently gathered Personal Data from a child under the age of 13, we will take reasonable measures to promptly remove such information from our records.
  4. How does PM Lights respond to Do Not Track Signals? We do not track Site users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising on our Site. Accordingly, we do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personal Data about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online services. Our service providers or other third parties may respond differently to “do not track” signals, as described in their respective privacy policies.
  5. Will PM Lights make updates or other changes to this Privacy Statement? Refer to the “Effective Date” at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Statement was last updated. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change the terms of this Privacy Statement at any time. We may provide you with notice of material changes to the Privacy Statement as appropriate under the circumstances, but we reserve the right, at our discretion, to change the terms of this Privacy Statement at any time without notice to you. UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED, ANY CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT WILL APPLY IMMEDIATELY UPON POSTING TO THE SITE.
